The main salon is spacious and high-ceilinged and features a modern flat-screen TV and sound system (w/satellite TV if you wish), plus pass-through bar and pirate-ship-worthy carved handrails, teak and holly floorboards, and lots of glass for taking in the scenery from all angles. Two comfortable arm-chairs and a big, soft settee make for pleasant evening conversations, plenty of options for curling up with a good book, or comfortable movie-watching for all.

Accommodations

The layout features a full aft stateroom with en suite toilet, shower and tub. Four opening portals with screens above the double berth, plus an opening skylight hatch, make this suite luxurious in all weather. Plus you may turn on your AC for hot tropical nights or dial up some warm air on a cool Nantucket evening. This is the ultimate honeymoon suite, and if you have in mind a romantic getaway you’ll love the teak-and-holy ambience, comfort and grace of your very private suite.

Forward is another double berth with adjoining head and shower (along with bunks for your crew). Plus the dining area converts to third comfortable double berth with privacy curtain, so there are many options for sleep depending on the configuration of your party. Two couples can enjoy separate, non-adjoining doubles, while parents can opt to keep young ones nearby or to allow te ens their privacy. (If you’re sharing with another couple, you may enjoy switching cabins half way through, since each has its special charms.)

Captain Jonathon Davis
On the water before he could walk, Jonathon was raised fishing and sailing. His seaborn merits include racing and delivering boats for the last 14 years. Jonathon consulted as an advisor for Sea Explorers for the last 13 years and taught sailing. Now thirty-five, he has sailed over 40,000 miles. With experience as both the charterer and the charteree, he knows the needs of his onboard guests, often before they do! Jonathon has extensive knowledge of many seaports from his own traveling experiences in the Caribbean, the Med, East Coast and West Coast of the USA and everywhere in between. Jonathon thoroughly enjoys water sports. An enthusiast in kite-boarding, diving, wakeboarding and snorkeling, he is happy to teach any or all of the above.

Chef Kim Hogan,
Kim is a twenty-five year old native Houstonian. Growing up in Texas, her family - mother, father, and younger sister - spent their leisure time with relatives and friends on the water. Besides her love of water sports, Kim also enjoys cooking, children, and animals. Since finishing school, Kim has pursued service oriented careers, including retail management, and found her true calling in the restaurant industry. Working in Landry’s Restaurants for the past six years has proved to be a great training ground for becoming the chef on Blue Moon. Kim's versatile menus are based on the freshest, highest quality ingredients, prepared and presented with her creative touch.
