Captain Jackson McHorney and crew of 4 Captain Jackson McHorney and crew of 4, Captain Jackson's love of the sea comes naturally. A true 'son of a son of a sailor', he is the son and grandson of Chesapeake Bay sea captains. A former high school teacher turned full time sailor, his 100,000+ sea miles have included seeking out adventures in the sunny Caribbean, exploring the historic Spanish Main, and sailing up the exotic Dulce River in Guatemala. His visits to the Med have provided seaside adventures, such as meeting the rich and famous in St. Tropez, discovering archaeological treasures and ruins in Turkey, and traipsing through the marketplaces of Casablanca in Africa. Jackson, or course, has extensive knowledge of the U.S. seaboard, having ventured along his native coast for the past 30 years. During his 20 years of chartering, Jackson has shared his love of the sea, knowledge of history and culture, and enthusiasm for water sports with this delighted guests. He especially enjoys teaching water skiing and sailing and introducing his guests to the breathtaking world beneath the water.
