David is an MCA Ocean Yacht Master. He was born in Liverpool England and together with Kim has extensively cruised the Virgin Islands as well as the Leewards and Windward Caribbean Islands, Northern Europe the Mediterranean, USA and the UK .

Before Pursuing "the Dream" David owned and operated his own boutique hotel and restaurant in England and has a catering & hospitality pedigree of some 20 years. he is no stranger to providing standards of excellence to make your time on Lumahai a memorable one.

Kim was worn in Southampton England and has grown up by the sea. Having spent 10 years working with David and in the Hotel and Restaurant industry, she has developed an extensive gourmet catering repertoire. A qualified hospitality specialist, she has worked as a high profile events coordinator for British government cabinet ministers and politicians. Kim is also a RYA Day Skipper and enjoys snorkeling and all water sports. She is equally at home above and below decks.
