Ingwe, the proud Shangaan tribe's word for the gracefully and powerfully built South African cat, the Leopard.

Free Ingwe, a cunningly designed Leopard 45 Charter Catamaran, was born and bred to roam the exotic and wild islands of the world. With it's unmatched deck space, vast interiors and flowing cockpit design with targa wing, Free Ingwe has tamed the clutter and climbing around usually associated with yachting.

Guest are rested in either one of the three air-conditioned spacious double cabins each with en-suite walk-ins shower and heads. Ultra modern galley is on the same level as six seater saloon and easy access to fridge and separate large freezer.

The secret ingredient to your magical Free Ingwe vacation is your experienced English crew, John and Deb. Married in the Caribbean in 1991, they are eager to share their idea of paradise and hope you will be as inspired as they were on their first BVI visit many years ago.

John and Deb are double winners at the BVI Boat Shows. They won "1st Runner Up - Best Catamaran" in 2007 with FREE INGWE and "Most Innovative Approach To Chartering" at the 2005 show with their previous yacht AMICUS.

You will immediately relax when you meet your hostess Deb, with whom you will have fun times and happy memories. She will take care of all your comforts aboard. Your peace and pleasure on Free Ingwe is enhanced by John who keeps a scrupulously clean and safely prepared yacht.

Deb is a professionally trained chef and nutritionist who use’s the finest local Caribbean ingredients to prepare delightfully varied meals. She will adapt her menus to suit your preferences whether these are for gourmet indulgence or lean cuisine. She is especially proud of her variety of breads which she bakes onboard freshly for you every day. Her marinated entrees and delicious desserts win her lots of friends and requests for her cook book.

As an exercise enthusiast and keen runner, Deb knows all the trails on all of the islands. If you want to stretch your legs she will escort you on trails, hikes and paths and share stunning views from hilltops you didn’t know you could reach!

Her other off-the-yacht passion is snorkelling the reefs of the BVI, which are some of the best in the world. She has fish and coral identification books on the yacht and is only too pleased to be asked to “come snorkelling” with you and show you her favourite fish.

Your professional captain, John, has all the qualifications, many years and thousands of sea miles of experience. His experiences have been gained on a variety of yachts and he is a BVI specialist. He proudly presents you with a safe and comfortable yacht. You can plan your itinerary with him to include private anchorages, secret “forbidden” islands, lively bars and restaurants and the best sailing waters in the world.

John will always patiently invite you to learn yachting skills during your vacation or let you lay back and soak up the hard won relaxation you have worked for all year. He is sensitive to guest’s wishes and takes special care of guests who are on their first yachting adventure.

As your co-host John will take good personal care of you, prepare some memorable cocktails, share some stories and even tell you some jokes.

John has two boys, now grown up, and Deb originally trained as a school teacher, so they welcome families with children aboard Free Ingwe. They have a long list of very happy previous guests from the young to the not so young.

This crew like nothing more than to take you champagne sailing, warm water swimming, island exploring, trail walking, coral reef snorkelling and beach partying. When it is time to relax we all enjoy sun worshipping, hammock dozing and star gazing. Their satisfaction comes from you taking home fond memories that will last you a life time.
