Launched in Cape Town, South Africa for the spring of 2004, after crossing the Atlantic, she began chartering the Virgin Islands

The large bathing platform makes access in and out of the water safe and comfortable for all water sports with easy movement from the cockpit with the walk through opening through to the bathing platform.

 

The Main Salon

The VOYAGE 500 has ample headroom (7 Ft) throughout and boasts a large saloon area with panoramic views that can be enjoyed when seated at the bar, whether you are enjoying a drink on anchor or while under way. The dining/saloon area is on the same level as the hi-tech Galley.
From this airy and spacious area, the large double sliding doors lead you onto the cockpit.

Paulo and Anna met whilst diving with manta rays off the Mozambican coast. They share a love for the ocean, as well as a keen sense of preserving it, and mostly a huge sense of adventure.

Paulo is a commercially endorsed RYA Yacht master Offshore, a commercial diver and an experienced PADI Dive Instructor. He was born in Mozambique and grew up in Portugal, where he trained as a Technical Draughtsman. But his passion and respect for the ocean got the better of him and after training as a commercial diver and qualifying as a PADI Dive Instructor he lived and worked in Mexico, Spain, South Africa and Mozambique. While working in Mozambique he decided to follow a lifelong dream and pursue a professional career in sailing.

Anna grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and is a PADI Dive Instructor. Her sense of adventure has taken her to the tops of Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu and diving Cuba, Rapa Nui and Thailand to name but a few. She trained as a Chartered Management Accountant, and worked in the corporate world in London, Amsterdam and South Africa for 15 years, before her travel and dive passion got the better of her. Anna is very social and has always entertained, her love for cooking has grown over the years as she has honed her culinary skills. Cape Town is renowned for its cosmopolitan cuisine and Anna has developed her menu to combine her sophisticated recipes with the local, fresh ingredients found in the Caribbean giving her menu an elegant and eclectic style.

Anna & Paulo both have a natural flair and passion for excellent cuisine so be assured that you will experience delectable dishes and fine dining on board Encore.
