The Quest Crew
Rhonda
and Cameron
Your
Chef and
Captain

Cameron and Rhonda hail from Calgary, Alberta Canada and, despite
residing in an inland location for many years, their passion for
sailing and adventure drove them to pursue a diverse range of sailing
locations and experiences. They have sailed in the Gulf Islands
of British Columbia and the San Juan Islands of Washington State,
both offering some of the best sailing in the world, and have done
the offshore passage from Victoria, BC to beautiful San Francisco,
CA. Their favorite sailing location remains the British Virgin Islands,
where they hope to share their excitement for the region and all
it has to offer with their guests aboard Quest.
Cameron started sailing at age 12 aboard his family’s 32’
sailboat in Vancouver and later competed on the British Columbia
provincial sailing team at a national level. He has crewed in numerous
distance and offshore races in the Pacific Northwest and loves the
camaraderie and freedom that sailing offers. In addition, Cameron
has been an avid diver since 1988 and is a PADI Divemaster with
many specialties.
Cameron has an MBA and has spent many years in the marine shipping
and transportation industry in a range of sales positions from business
development to ship brokerage and, most recently, in logistics solutions.
Rhonda is also an avid sailor, having completed numerous Canadian
Yachting Association certifications and the Master of Yachts 200
Gross Ton (Mate) qualification. Her passion for sailing is matched
by her flair for cooking and entertaining. Her use of fresh local
ingredients to add Caribbean flavor to her dishes makes for a wonderful
dining experience. Rhonda holds a Wine and Spirits Education Trust
Intermediate Certificate and delights in delicious pairings of wine
and food. She is also a PADI Open Water Diver.
Rhonda has an undergraduate degree in business and has spent over
12 years in Pharmaceutical Sales with territories that extended
from the interior of British Columbia to Winnipeg, Manitoba. Prior
to embarking on her sales career, Rhonda was an avid horsewoman
who obtained her Canadian Equestrian Federation Coaching certificate
at age 19 and competed in a range of equestrian events from three-day
eventing to cutting.
This outgoing and personable couple have a variety of interests
including fly fishing, camping, horse racing, travelling and horseback
riding, to name a few. Come and enjoy their western hospitality
in a beautiful Caribbean setting!
